Event Staging:

The pre-race activities (packet and t-shirt pick-up, race night registration, company gathering etc) and post-race party will take place at picnic shelter #5 and on the swatch of grass right next to Picnic shelter #5. Picnic shelter #5 is located right across the road from the wildlife center. There are picnic tables permanently installed underneath the picnic shelters and we will place a bunch of 60” round banquet tables on the swatch of grass next door. There will be plenty of comfortable seating for all teams and team members.

Race Course:

The 5k run/walk will take place on the greenway located inside of Bur-Mil Park. The start/finish will be next to the wildlife center and shelter #5. The course consists of two out and backs, one to Owls Roost Road and one to Strawberry Road. The course is flat, tree covered and extremely scenic.

Party & Catering:

The post-race party featuring free beer and free pizza for all will take place at Picnic Shelter #5 and on the swatch of grass right next to Shelter #5. For companies that want to do something a bit more elaborate on the food and beverage side, you are welcome to cater your own company picnic. We will provide comfortable table seating for your entire team. Our DJ will be placing music from event start to finish. Our photographer will be taking team and individual photos which are free for all. Awards at 8-8:15 for the fastest teams and individuals.

Parking:

The main parking area will be at the Wildlife Center and at the cul-de-sac next to Picnic Shelter #7. Additional parking is available up the hill next to the golf driving range and right in front of the main clubhouse.

Friday September 7th at 5pm

Team Payment Deadline:

Tuesday September 11th at 5pm

Race Day Registration:

Any team member who misses the on-line registration deadline can show up on race night and join his or her team as a race night registrant. All others can also register on race night. All race night entrants unaffiliated with a team can sign up as a guest of the Corporate FunRun team, thus, all runners are welcome. T-shirts are not guaranteed to race night registrants.

Team Referrals:

We love and greatly appreciate team referrals. Provide us with the contact name at a prospective company and get a $50 gift card if they register.
