Event Staging:

The pre-race activities (packet pick-up, race night registration, company gathering etc) will take place at the Main Pavillion (It’s the silver building with large glass windows facing the water) The post-race party featuring free pizza, free ziti trays, free beverages and more will be staged there as well. About 90 picnic tables are available underneath the pavillion and on the adjoining patio. In addition, we will be setting up a large number of 60” round banquet tables with 8 chairs per table on the adjacent grass to further enhance the experience. Plenty of table seating for all.

Race Course:

The 5k run/walk will be one loop around the park starting and finishing at the main pavillion. The course is fast and flat with scenic views of Long Island Sound.

Party & Catering:

We will be providing everybody with free pizza, free cookies and free beverages, however, companies are welcome to bring in their own food and drink and cater their own corporate picnic if they so desire. Plenty of picnic and banquet table seating for all. Our D.J will be playing music from event start to finish and our photographer will be taking team, run/walk and party photos. We will have awards at 8pm for largest team, team with best tee shirt and fastest teams/individuals.

Parking:

There is plenty of free parking, over 5000 spots. The main lot for this race is the one right behind the pavillion with the second lot being the one on the other side of the traffic circle heading east.

Registration Fee:

$48 per team member.

On-Line Registration Deadline:

Friday May 15^th at 5pm

Team Payment Deadline:

Tuesday May 19^th at 5pm

Race Day Registration:

Although discouraged, (please sign up in advance) it’s available.
