Event Times:

5:00-6:30:     Team packet pick-up, company gathering.
6:30-7:30      5k run/walk
7:30-9:00      Post-race party & awards

Event Staging:

The pre-race activities (packet and tee shirt pick-up, race night registration, company gathering etc) and post-race party (free pizza, free beer, free ziti etc) will all be staged in the Shields Lake Shelter section of Byrd Park.

Race Course:

The 5k run/walk will all take place entirely within the confines of Byrd Park with the start/finish at Shields Lake Amphitheatre.

Party and Catering

The post-race party will feature free beer, free pizza, free ziti and other goodies. For companies that want to do something a bit more elaborate on the food and beverage side, you are welcome to cater your own company picnic. We will provide plenty of picnic and banquet table seating for your entire team. Our D.J will be playing music from start to finish. Our photographer will be taking team and individual photos which of course are free. Awards at 8 p.m for largest team, team with best tee shirt and fastest teams/individuals.

Parking:

Plent of free parking is available at the Shields Lake Shelter lot.

Registration Fee:

$45 per team member.

On-Line Registration Deadline:

Friday June 14^th at 5 p.m

Team Payment Deadline:

Monday June 17^th at 5pm.

Race Day Registration:

Although it’s discouraged, (please sign up in advance) any team member who misses the on-line registration deadline can show up on race night and join his or her team as a race night registrant.

We love and greatly appreciate team referrals. Provide us with the contact name at a prospective company and get a $50 gift card if they register.
