Boston 5k

Event Times:

5:00-6:30:        Team packet pickup, company gathering.
6:30-7:30:        5k run/walk
7:30-9:00:        Post-race party & awards

Event Staging:

The pre-race activities (packet pick-up, race night registration, company gathering etc) and post-race party will take place at the amphitheater section of Herter Park and is located only a few yards away from the main parking lot. We will have plenty of banquet table seating for all teams and team members.

Race Course:

The 5k run/walk will take place entirely on the Charles River Walk with the start/finish at the amphitheater. Runners will head north on the Boston side, cross the Elliot Bridge and then head south on the Cambridge side.

Party and Catering

The post-race party will feature free pizza and free beer for all, however, companies are welcome to bring in their own food and drink if they so desire. We will have plenty of  banquet table seating set up for all teams and team members. Our D.J will be playing music from start to finish. Our photographer will be taking team and individual photos which of course are free. Awards at 8 p.m for the largest team, team with best tee shirt and fastest teams/individuals.

Parking:

Plenty of parking is available at the main Herter Park lot.    

Registration Fee:

$45 per team member.

On-Line Registration Deadline:

Wednesday July 19th at 5 p.m

Team Payment Deadline:

Tuesday July 23rd at 5p.m.

Race Day Registration:

Although it’s discouraged, (please sign up in advance) team members who misses the on-line registration deadline can show up on race night and join his or her team as a race night registrant
