Charity Component

Just like in 2023, we are taking a different approach to the CFR charity component in 2024.. Instead of having us select an event charity partner like we have in the past, for all events over 300 participants,  we are going to simply write a check to the charity of choice of each event’s largest team. The check will be presented to the team captain during the race night awards ceremony at the same time as they receive their largest company team trophy. Thus, they will walk away with a check in one hand and trophy in the other hand.

For all events 300 participants or more, the check amount will be a sliding scale percentage of gross revenue, the bigger the race, the bigger the check.

Event Size                                            Donation Amount

1-500 participants                               5% of total gross registration revenue
501-1000 participants                        7.5% of total gross registration revenue
1000+ participants                             10% of total gross registration revenue.

Thus, if an event had 1200 people, we would donate 5% of revenue for participants 1-500, 7.5% of revenue for participants 501-1000 and 10% of revenue for participants 1001-1200.
