Battery Park City-Rockefeller Park North (right across street from River Terrace between Liberty and Warren Streets.)

5:00-6:30: Team packet pickup, company gathering
6:30-7:30: 5k run/walk within the park.
7:30-9:00: Post-race party & awards

Event Staging:

The pre-race activities (packet and tee shirt pickup, race night registration, company gathering etc) and post-race party (free pizza-beverages music, awards) will take place in the picnic area section (next to handball courts) in the Rockefeller Park North section of Battery Park City. We are going to make this event Manhattan’s premier corporate picnic. We will have a bunch of picnic tables laid out on the grass for all teams and team members and there are also a few picnic tables and a whole bunch of wooden benches available.

Race Course:

The 5k run/walk will be an “out and back” heading south towards Robert Wagner on the walk/run path with the start/finish on the great lawn at Rockefeller Park N.

Party and Catering

The post-race party will be staged at Rockefeller Park North. We will be providing everybody with free pizza, free cookies and free beverages, however, teams are welcome to bring in their own food and drink if they so desire. We will have picnic blankets set up on the grass for all teams and team members, plus there is bench and small table seating available. Our D.J will be playing music from start to finish. Our photographer will be taking team and individual photos which of course are free. Awards at 8 p.m for largest team, team with best tee shirt and fastest team/individuals.

Getting There:

Besides walking or ride share, take the A/C subway train to Chambers Street station.

Registration Fee:

$48 per team member.

On-Line Registration Deadline:

Friday September 11^th at 5pm

Team Payment Deadline:

Wednesday September 16^th at 5pm

Race Day Registration:

Although it’s discouraged, (please sign up in advance) team member who misses the on-line registration deadline can show up on race night and sign up for his or her team as a race night registrant.
