Event Times:

5:00-6:30: Team packet pick-up, company gathering.at Waltham Common
6:30-7:30: 5k run/walk on the Charles River Walk
7:30-9:00: Post-race party & awards at Waltham Common.

Event Staging:

The pre-race activities (packet pick-up, race night registration, company gathering etc.) and post-race party (beer-food-music) will take place at the Gazebo section and on the surrounding grass at the Waltham Common.

Race Course:

The 5k run/walk will take place on the beautiful Charles River Walk with the start/finish at the Moody Street entrance to the River Walk. Runners/walkers will head up towards Prospect Street, cross Prospect Street (Police will be stationed there), head up to and around the “Island” and then head back on the River Walk to the Moody Street finish line.

Party & Catering:

The post-race party will take place at the Gazebo section and on the surrounding grass at the Waltham Common. We will be providing everybody will plenty of free food (pizza, ziti trays, cookie and more) and free drink, however companies are welcome to bring in their own food and drink if they so desire. We will have plenty of banquet table seating available for all teams and team members. Our D.J will be playing music from start to finish. Our photographer will be taking team and individual photos which of course are free. Awards at 8 p.m for largest team, team with best tee shirt and fastest teams/individuals.

Parking:

Plenty of readily available parking around the Commons. Parking map coming soon.

Registration Fee:

$45 per team member.

On-Line Registration Deadline:

Wednesday June 5^th at 5pm.

Team Payment Deadline:

Friday June 7^th at 5pm.

Race Day Registration:

Although it’s discouraged, (please sign up in advance) any team member who misses the on-line registration deadline can show up on race night and join his or her team as a race night registrant.
