Event Staging:

The pre-race activities (packet pick-up, race night registration, company gathering etc.) and post-race party will be staged at the picnic pavilion and on the swatch of grass next to picnic pavilion which is located right next to the tennis courts inside of Lunken Airport playfield. Picnic tables are available for comfortable seating underneath the pavilion and in addition we will provide banquet table seating on the adjacent grass for our teams and team members.

Race Course:

The 5k run/walk will be an out and back on the paved bike trail all within the confines of Lunken Airport Playfield. The start/finish line is right across the road from the picnic pavilion.

Party and Catering

The post-race party featuring free beer (3 or 4 different varieties ) and free pizza (from Larosa’s) will take place underneath the picnic pavilion and on the swatch of grass right next to the pavilion. For companies that want to do something a bit more elaborate on the food and beverage side, you are welcome to cater your own company picnic. We will provide comfortable table seating for your entire team. Our D.J will be playing music from start to finish. Our photographer will be taking team and individual photos which of course are free. Awards at 8 p.m for largest team, team with best tee shirt and fastest teams/ individuals.

Parking:

Plenty of parking will be available inside of the Playfield next to the Marian Ahlerling building, at the tennis courts and at the golf course.

Registration Fee:

$45 per team member

On-Line Registration Deadline:

Friday September 13th at 5pm.

Team Payment Deadline:

Wednesday September 18^th at 5pm

Race Day Registration:

Although it’s discouraged, (please sign up in advance) any team member who misses the on-line registration deadline can show up on race night and join his or her team as a race night registrant.
